Why there’s always drama when it’s India vs Pakistan

The uncertainty over the India-Pakistan clash at the T20 World Cup didn’t feel out of place given the fraught ties between the two nations. While there’s been a lot of drama off the field, the clash between the two (like many Indian advertisements promoting the match have pointed out) has largely been dominated by India, and they will be favourites this time as well.
While the two neighbours don’t play each other in bilateral series, the two teams somehow always face off at least once in every ICC tournament. This encounter in the World T20 tournament comes after weeks of drama that saw Bangladesh booted out of the tournament and Pakistan threatening to boycott the clash with India in solidarity.
