He is a 63-year-old wealthy Indian-origin restaurateur with a string of fine-dining restaurants to his name. On the face of it, he does not fit the profile of a man accused of drugging a woman he considered a friend.
Yet Vikas Nath, an Indian-origin businessman linked to a portfolio of restaurants in the UK and Spain — including two with Michelin stars —was on February 6 found guilty by a jury of both attempting to administer a substance with intent and possession of a Class B drug.
